15% Size Reduced of Planar Transformer

One of our aerospace customer need to design a dc/dc converter within a limited space inside the chassis, the current standard planar transformer was too large for the application and our customer is asking for help to reduce the size of transformer without sacrificing the performance.
Problem
The current standard planar transformer from Elytone is too large for the customer's second generation reduce sized product, however the performance should stay the same not being affected.
Solution
Elytone's RD put lots of efforts to re layout the wire on PCB and also apply advanced multi layer PCB technology for higher power density.
Conclusion
The result went very well and meet customer's target to at least reduce 15% of the original size, on the other hand, the performance were being tested and proved by our customer on the final product without any problems.
