Peak Amplification, a division of Elytone Electronic Co., Ltd., has introduced two new GaN-based amplifier modules designed to deliver higher efficiency, cooler operation, and improved audio performance for modern audio systems.
The new AM-200C1G (100V) and AM-500C1G (200V) are single-channel amplifier modules built on Infineon GaN technology and designed for compact, vertically oriented carrier boards, enabling flexible multichannel system design.
Designed for Higher Performance in Compact Systems
Compared to conventional MOSFET-based Class-D designs, GaN-based amplification enables higher efficiency, lower heat generation, and more consistent audio performance across different load conditions. These advantages make GaN particularly well suited for applications where space, thermal limits, and reliability are critical design factors.
The AM-200C1G and AM-500C1G are intended for commercial AV, professional audio, and high-end consumer products requiring clean output power in compact form factors.
AM-200C1G and AM-500C1G at a Glance
- Single-channel GaN amplifier modules optimized for vertical mounting
- Higher efficiency with reduced thermal constraints
- Lower distortion and noise compared to MOSFET Class-D designs
- Scalable architecture supporting flexible channel counts
- Designed for integration into installation-focused and performance-driven audio products
Demonstration and Evaluation
Both GaN amplifier modules will be demonstrated live at ISE 2026 in Barcelona, where Peak Amplification and Elytone will showcase system-level implementations and discuss application requirements with audio product teams.
- AM-200C1G (100V): Production version available for demonstration and sampling
- AM-500C1G (200V): Engineering version available for early evaluation
