Elytone has introduced a new platform of PoE networked amplifiers designed to deliver high-performance Audio-over-IP (AoIP) in compact, single-cable endpoint applications.

Built on Elytone’s NAP2 (Networked Audio Processor 2), these new amplifier designs support PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ power tiers. By integrating networked audio processing, power management, and amplification into a single scalable architecture, the platform enables audio engineers and product teams to deploy professional audio solutions without the cabling complexity or thermal trade-offs typically associated with PoE power limits.

Smarter Power Management for AoIP Endpoints

The core challenge of PoE audio is delivering high output within a limited power budget. Elytone addresses this through SoundBoost technology, which works alongside the NAP2 platform to dynamically increase transient amplification power based on real-time audio demand.

This approach helps product teams design installation-friendly endpoints with the headroom required for musical peaks and dynamic transients, while maintaining compact form factors.
